Is your name written in the Book of Life?

“Anyone whose name was not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.” Revelation 20:15 

Many people strive for their name to be known and remembered. They will do whatever it takes to achieve fame and often hurt a lot of people along the way. But what does it profit a man if his name is known on earth, but not in heaven? Every sane person should prepare for eternity. The Bible clearly tells us that it is either heaven or hell that the human soul goes to after death. This is so incredibly serious.

“The Lord is not slow concerning His promise, as some count slowness. But He is patient with us, because He does not want any to perish, but all to come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9 

God is good and He does not want any person to perish in hell. God wants every person to turn to Him and believe in and follow the Son of God, Jesus. This is God’s will for every human being.

If you haven’t opened your heart to Jesus yet, now is the time to do so. Don’t put this off for the future. You do not know when you will leave the earthly life. Turn to God today and start following and believing in Jesus. Then your name will be written in the book of life.

“Likewise, I tell you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.” Luke 15:10

Today your name can be known in heaven and you can bring joy to God and God’s angels by turning away from sin, to God’s open and loving arms. Tell Jesus you want to become a child of God now.
