Pastor Rude

What is in the world always strives to get into the church. The world is in rebellion against God, both openly and rudely but also in a way that wants to keep up a pious facade but still hates God.

It was pride that caused Lucifer to be cast out of heaven and become Satan. Riches and pride are the same family. They got Lucifer down and they are enslaving the whole western world today. It makes us slaves under the rule of darkness. Mammon is almost magical, it is almost like a spirit that enchants people and instills pride.

“…God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” James 4:6

If God is against you, then you really have a problem. You want God on your side if you are sensible. God looks for humble hearts.

Jesus is a role model of humility through what He did through His earthly walk and atoning sacrifice. He came as a humble servant without prestige and pride to make it possible for man to be reconciled to God.

The pride in the world, which many times disguises itself in humanistic clothes, has now drawn into churches and hearts of pastors. One has the guts to go against the Bible. Brazenly and shamelessly, they talk about the importance of ecumenism with dead religion and they spit on the sanctity of marriage. The pride and rebellion stinks a long way. Who do they think they are?

“Why do you call Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do what I say?” Luke 6:46

Don’t call Jesus Lord if you don’t obey Him. Jesus is not some kind of dead icon picture that you put up on the wall in some corner. Jesus is truly alive and His eyes are like a flame of fire and His voice is like the sound of many waters. Our God is a consuming fire.

If you have fallen victim to pride, it is time to humbly repent. This is not a game but is extremely serious.

The Bible is not difficult to understand. It interprets itself and Jesus helps those who believe in Him with humble hearts, to live as the Bible teaches.

Every Christian man has his ultimate responsibility to God, not to his pastor. A pastor who preaches and lives wrong is actually your responsibility not to follow.

Many times God can allow false teachers to try the hearts of His people if they love and want to obey God more than men.

“Therefore, to you who believe, He is precious. But to those who are disobedient, “The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone,” and, “A stone of stumbling, and a rock of offense.” They stumble because they are disobedient to the word, to which also they were appointed.” 1 Peter 2:7‭-‬8

Faith and obedience are connected and characterize a Christian life just as unbelief and disobedience characterize the kingdom of darkness. Either one bows to the Bible and receives its blessings or one stumbles upon the Bible and excludes oneself from its blessings. What you choose to do then influence your surroundings, positively or negatively.

A spiritual leader has an enormous responsibility and will one day be accountable to God. Then some kind of homemade theology and cheap excuses won’t work.

Even church members have their own responsibility to make sure their lives are right before God. Therefore, it is time to dust off your Bible and read for yourself and do as it says. It doesn’t work to stand before God and blame your pastor. You have a Bible that tells you what applies.

God bless you.
