Miracles
Humans can do a lot, but we are limited, there is also a lot we cannot do. When Jesus walked the earth, He forgave sins and He performed miracles.
“But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins,” He said to the paralyzed man, “I say to you, rise, take up your bed, and go to your house.” Immediately he rose before them, and took up that on which he lay, and departed to his own house, glorifying God.” Luke 5:24-25
By healing the sick, in this case a paralyzed man, Jesus showed that He also had power to forgive sins. The paralyzed man first had his sin forgiven, and that is the most important thing, and then he was healed and could walk.
”Certainly, the hand of the Lord is not so short that it cannot save, nor is His ear so dull that it cannot hear. But your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hidden His face from you so that He will not hear.” Isaiah 59:1-2
It is when we turn away from sin, to Jesus, and believe in Him that we can receive forgiveness. Jesus is the propitiation for our sins.
“Jesus said, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”” Mark 9:23
Whatever situation you are in right now, there is hope for you with Jesus. Even if the circumstances say it is hopeless and impossible, Jesus both wants and can help you.
When you turn to Jesus, put your faith in Him and tell Him you count on His help, then miracles can happen.
Today you can both have your sin forgiven and have Jesus turn your impossible situation around. A miracle can be yours just like it was for the paralyzed man. He was forgiven and given a clean conscience and his crippled body was healed and he could do the impossible, he could walk. That day he praised God and the people who saw what happened were amazed and they also praised God.
“He said, “What is impossible with men is possible with God.”” Luke 18:27
God bless you.
